Matthew T. Williams

Matt is an attorney at the Cordoba Law Firm, PLLC. Matt's focus is asset-management related legal issues, which includes expertise in probate and estate administration, estate planning, guardianship law, business entities, and real estate (transactions, title curative issues, etc.). Prior to joining the Cordoba Law Firm, PLLC, Matt spent 2011-2020 as an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Everett Stovall representing clients in a variety of legal issues related to probate and estate administrations, real estate (transactions, title curative issues, etc.), estate planning, guardianship law, family law, and criminal defense. During this time, Matt also gained experience in probate litigation and appeals. From 2021-2022 as the Owner of M. Williams Law Firm, PLLC, Matt focused on asset-management related legal issues including real estate (transactions, title curative issues, etc.), probate and estate administrations, estate planning and guardianship law.

In addition to his legal practice, Matt currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Government at Brazosport College. Since 2012, Matt has taught a wide range of college courses including Federal Political Science, State and Local Government, Business Law, Legal Issues for Managers, and other legal issues courses at Brazosport College and Alvin Community College. Also in 2022, Matt became a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser to better serve clients in need of expert witness testimony in cases where real estate valuations are in dispute.

When Matt is away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his partner, Taylor, and when time allows traveling, dining out, watching the Astros, and cooking for friends and family.
